General part information

SM2A312 Series

The SM2A312D is a diffuse self-contained Photoelectric Sensor with SCR output. The MINI-BEAM® AC-Voltage series 25965 sensor has gain (sensitivity) adjustment screw and Alignment Indicator Device (AID). If the Alignment LED does not go OFF when the object is removed from the beam, the sensor is probably detecting light reflected from some background object.
