General part information
JWE0848 Series
JWE08 is a 8W high power density DC DC converter with both single and dual outputs. An ultra-wide 4:1 input range of 9V to 36VDC for the 24VDC input models or 18V to 75VDC for the 48VDC input models is ideal for many applications that demand multiple input voltages or where the input voltage varies widely. Both ranges also include international 60950-1 safety agency approvals. With a very small 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.31" (23.8 x 13.7 x 8mm) DIP16 package, the range has a power density of 50W/in2. Single outputs of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and 24VDC or dual outputs of ±12V and ±15VDC are available in both series. Housed in a cool black metal case that is UL 94V-0 rated, the modules provide 1500VDC isolation and a tightly regulated output, typically ±0.5% over all line and load conditions. Their operating temperature range is from -40°C to 105°C with derating starting at 75°C for the JWE06 parts and 70°C for the 8 Watt models. These new converters meet EN55022 Class A conducted emission limits without the need for additional filtering.
