The low output voltage enables this LDO to power the modern microcontrollers with lower core voltages. Additionally, the TPS746 has a low IQwith enable functionality to minimize standby power. This device features an internal soft-start to lower the inrush current, which provides a controlled voltage to the load and minimizes the input voltage drop during start up.

The TPS746 has a power-good (PG) output that monitors the voltage at the feedback pin to indicate the status of the output voltage. The EN input and PG output can be used for sequencing multiple power sources in the system.
