LT8210 Series

The LT8210 is a 4-switch synchronous buck-boost DC/DC controller that can operate in passthru, forced continuous, pulse-skipping and Burst Mode®operation. PassThru is a feature that passes the input directly to the output when the input is within a user programmable window. PassThru mode eliminates switching losses and EMI along with maximizing efficiency. For input voltages above or below the passthru window, the buck or boost regulation loops maintain the output at the set maximum or minimum values, respectively.The GATEVCCdriver supply is regulated to 10.6V allowing the use of standard-level MOSFETs and can be powered through the EXTVCCpin for improved efficiency. The GATEVCCregulator is back-drive-protected to ride through input brownouts while maintaining regulation. Optional reverse input protection down to –40V can be implemented with the addition of a single N-channel MOSFET.
