Description
General part information
PVT412 Series
PVT412PBF is a PVA412 series single-pole, normally-open, HEXFET® power MOSFET photovoltaic relay. It serves as a replacement for electromechanical relays in various applications. Utilizing International Rectifier’s proprietary HEXFET power MOSFET as the output switch, it is driven by an integrated circuit photovoltaic generator of novel construction. The output switch is controlled by radiation from a GaAlAs light-emitting diode (LED), which is optically isolated from the photovoltaic generator. This SSR is specifically tailored for worldwide telecom applications. The PVT412 does not employ current-limiting circuitry and offers lower on-state resistance. Applications include on/off hook switches, dial-out relays, ring relays, and general switching.
