Description

General part information

RCQ75110 Series

RCQ50 and RCQ75 series converters are designed for railway applications and comply with EN50121-3-2, the EMC standard for rolling stock apparatus. The RCQ50 has output power up to 50 Watts while the RCQ75 range is 75 Watts. Both series include two wide input voltage ranges. The 72VDC nominal models accept an input from 43V to 101VDC and the 110V nominal versions have a 66V to 160VDC input. Both series have 8 different output models total, 4 for each input voltage range including 5V, 12V, 15V and 24VDC. A trim pin allows a ±10% voltage adjustment for all models. Remote On/Off and remote sense are also standard for both series. The units offer basic isolation of 3000VAC from input to output and 1500VDC from output to case. Safety agency approvals include IEC60571 and EN50155 for railway use as well as IEC and UL 60950-1 for IT applications. Conducted emissions meet Class A limits of EN55022 with external filtering. The new RCQ50/75 ranges complement our existing RDD08, RDC20, RDC30, RDC40 and RDQ100 and RDQ150 ranges allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of DC-DC converters from 8-150W for railway applications. These products are perfect for value added projects in the railway industry.
