1-528013-1 is a FFC pistol grip hand tool case. It enables the application of FFC socket and pin contacts, solder contacts and FFC splice contacts with Tyco Electronics FFC multiple crimp. The hand tool’s ergonomic design and user friendliness makes the tool suitable for either sample production or Iow volume production. The operation of the hand tool is quite simple. The foil is positioned in the foil holder and fixed by a clamping mechanism. The operator inserts the contact (loose piece) in the loading position. By squeezing the handle the contact is crimped on the FFC foil. Afterwards the operator moves the foil sledge to the next position by hand wheel. The next sequence begins.
