UST-12 Series

The UST series single-output DC/DC Converter achieves this best-of-both-worlds status by implementing proven circuit architecture as a full, SMT-on-PCB assembly that is truly 100% automatically assembled. It is requiring no external components, device DC/DC bring true component like convenience to designers of todays distributed power systems. Output voltages are 5, 12 or 15V. Input voltage ranges an ultra-wide 18 to 72V. The device is fully isolated and includes input (pi-type) and output filters. Output transient response is a quick 200µsec, while output ripple and noise are typically 75mVp-p. This rugged module is fully encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound that contributes to its outstanding moisture/vibration resistance and impressive MTBF. It operates over the full -40 to 75°C temperature range without derating. It been thoroughly characterized, qualified and EMI/EMC tested.
