PVG612 Series
The PVG612APBF is a HEXFET® thru-hole power MOSFET Photovoltaic Relay with bounce-free operation. This photovoltaic relay is a single-pole, normally open solid-state relay that can replace electromechanical relays in many applications. It utilizes HEXFET power MOSFET as the output switch, driven by an integrated circuit photovoltaic generator of novel construction. The output switch is controlled by radiation from a GaAlAs light emitting diode (LED) which is optically isolated from the photovoltaic generator. It exceeds the performance capabilities of electromechanical relay in operating life, sensitivity, stability of on-resistance, miniaturization, insensitivity to magnetic fields and ruggedness.
