AD8369 Series

The AD8369 is a high performance, digitally controlled variable gain amplifier, designed to be used at IF frequencies within cellular receivers.The device features a 4-bit digitally controlled gain control interface configurable for either parallel or 3 wire serial control. The gain control range spans 45 dB adjustable in 3 dB increments.The AD8369 is ideally suited to be used in digital IF receivers and is fully specified for operation at common IF frequencies 70 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 380 MHz. The gain stability and flatness is below 0.1 dB over a 20 MHz channel bandwidth at 380 MHz. Coupled with the low distortion and the ability to drive 200 Ω or 1 K Ω, the AD8369 allows optimal placement and flexibility as a high IF gain control element.The AD8369 is fabricated on an advanced silicon bipolar process, operating on a single 3 or 5 volt supply, packaged in space saving 16-lead thin shrunk small outline (TSSOP) package and fully specified over the –40ºC to +85ºC temperature range.
