Description
General part information
TMC246 Series
The TMC246 provides an integrated motor driver solution for Laboratory Automation, Scanners and other automated equipment applications. The device has an integrated microstepping current control and the sensorless stall detection technology StallGuard™ and is intended to drive a bipolar stepper motor. The output driver block consists of low RDSon TrenchFET power MOSFETs configured as full H-bridges to drive the motor windings. The TMC246 is capable of driving up to 1.5A of current from each output (with proper heatsinking). TMC246 is designed for a supply voltage of 7 to 34V. The device has a SPI interface for control and diagnostics.APPLICATIONSReplace Classic Bipolar Driver ICsOffice AutomationPrinter and ScannerHeliostat ControllerATM, Cash recyclerPOSCCTV, SecurityAntenna PositioningPumps and ValvesLab AutomationLiquid HandlingMedica
