The 3-647000-2 is a 2-position 1-row Wire-to-Wire Closed-end Plug with pin type tin-plated copper alloy contacts and standard glass-filled nylon housing. The MTA-100 series strain relief IDC connector has nickel-plated underplate, locking lance contact retention, latch mating retention and polarization mating alignment. The MTA-100 connector accepts discrete and ribbon cable wire sizes ranging from 22 to 28AWG with maximum insulation outside diameter of 0.060 inch (1.52mm) for terminating single wire and 0.050 inch (1.27mm) for mass termination of wires.
