The master battery disconnect switch meets IP67/X9K standards for protection against dust, temporary immersion in water, and close-range high-temperature, high-pressure spray downs. In addition, this double-pole battery disconnect switch features a Smartkey design, which lets the operator choose between using the disconnect with a removable or fixed handle. This model (08084300) of the 24V battery disconnect switch has a maximum continuous current rating of 250A and a current inrush rating of 1000A at 10 seconds. Plus, it has a block on the key that must be pushed for every operation, which adds an extra level of safety.
