For high-powered commercial vehicle applications, where individual fuse holders may be inefficient or leave the fuse connections exposed to the elements, a sealed, multi-fuse holder like the MDB5 Series 70V Waterproof MEGA® & MIDI® Fuse Power Distribution Box (07985004ZXS) may be a better, more cost-effective choice. This 5-way power distribution box is designed with a sealed enclosure that protects the fuse connections from the corrosive conditions typically found in the battery box or under the hood. In addition, the included cable seals can be added to achieve IP67 and IP69K ratings, ultimately turning the fuse holder into a dust-tight and waterproof fuse box for use in the harshest environments. With dual, configurable inputs, the MDB5 Series power distribution box enables flexibility between high- and low-current applications and up to 400A continuous current.
