These Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) locks (883-083), component parts of HWB60 series and HWB60-AL series hard-wired power distribution boxes, are retaining devices that keep installed wire leads locked in position. This ensures the leads do not accidentally unplug themselves, even if a vehicle is subject to heavy vibration or rough terrain.
