Altistart 22 soft-starter unit is a controller for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motor. This Schneider Electric Altistart 22 soft-starter can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in supply line connection with a rating of 47A, a rated power from 15 to 40 horsepower and a rated voltage from 230 to 575VAC. This Soft-start/soft-stop unit is designed to enable smooth start and stop of simple and complex machines such as centrifugal and piston pumps, fans, screw compressors and material handling equipment. It features a PTC thermal probe input to detect motor overheating as well as multiple other motor monitoring functions.
