The VR37 series from Vishay are high ohmic/high voltage leaded resistors. They are made of high grade ceramic body with a metal glazed film deposition. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned electrolytic copper wires are welded to the end-caps. The resistor is coated with a light blue lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. The VR37 series resistors are used where high resistance, high stability and high reliability at high voltage are required.
