The NC5MAV-SW from Neutrik is a vertical PCB mount 5 pole male XLR receptacle chassis connector with changeover switch. This connector has round plastic body with smallest size and highest packing density (23mm between centres). Separate ground contact is provided to mating connector shell and front panel (no connection to pin 1 of connector). The switching contacts are activated by mating connector offering possibility to indicate, monitor and control the mated connection. The changeover switch provides normal open and normal closed contacts. Switch activated by inserting cable connector and colour coding is possible.
