MKT1813422635G

The MKT1813422635G is an axial leaded DC Film Capacitor with polyester film dielectric and metallised electrodes. The MKT1813 series film capacitor has tinned wire leads. It assists energy conversion while providing low losses, high efficiency and long life. For general purpose applications of DC-filtering, coupling, bypassing timing and interference suppression on low-voltage circuits. It is used for low building height applications. The electrodes of metallised film capacitor consist of an extremely thin metal layer (0.02 to 0.1μm) that is vacuum deposited either onto the dielectric film or onto a carrier film. The opposing and extended metalized film layers of the wound capacitor element are connected to one another by flame spraying different metals to the end-faces. The metal spraying process is also known as schooping. The terminals are connected to the end-faces by means of welding or soldering.
