CA12EAN08BPM1IO is a capacitive proximity sensor with IO-Link communication. It is a high-performance capacitive sensor for the detection of most solid or liquid targets in industrial applications such as plastic and rubber, agriculture, food and beverage and materials handling. The 4th Generation of TRIPLESHIELD™ technology provides increased immunity to electromagnetic interference, especially to frequency drives, and improves immunity to humidity and dust. It opens up a variety of functions, such as easy communication and customization of advanced parameter settings. In IO-Link mode the sensor will generate 16-bit analog process data output representing the dielectric value measured by the sensor. It can be set, such as ON-delay, off-delay, and one shot. Applications include the detection of glass in the production of e.g., solar panels, mobile phones or windows glass containing a tiny layer of metal coating.
