UFX7000 Series
ViewSpan5G is the industry's first USB 3.0 graphics solution that utilizes 5Gbps SuperSpeed USB technology as a display interface. Capable of interfacing with VGA, DVI and HDMI-enabled displays without glue logic, ViewSpan5G brings USB's versatility, expandability and plug-and-play simplicity to the way consumers interact with their PC monitors and TVs. ViewSpan5G offers a system solution consisting of a USB graphics controller (UFX7000) and enabling host software. Powered by innovative content-aware, bandwidth-efficient and resolution-optimized video processing algorithms, ViewSpan5G seamlessly delivers smooth HD video, vivid static images and clear text to virtually any consumer or commercial display, all from a USB cable. ViewSpan5G is fully backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and is capable of supporting full 1080p HD resolution over either a USB SuperSpeed or Hi-Speed link. Microchip also offers the UFX6000, featuring ViewSpan™ technology as a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 option.
