MPM3805B is an automotive-grade, stepdown module converter with a built-in inductor and power MOSFETs. It achieves 0.6A of peak output current from a 2.5V to 6V input voltage range with excellent load and line regulation. The output voltage is fixed to 1.2V, so the device only requires input and output capacitors to complete the design. The device’s integrated inductor simplifies the power system design and provides easy, efficient use. Constant-on-time (COT) control provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown (TSD). The MPM3805B is ideal for a wide range of automotive applications including small ECUs, camera modules, telematics, and infotainment systems. It is available in a small, surface mounted QFN-12 (2.5mmx3.0mmx0.9mm) package.
