How does Zenode work?
Zenode helps you search for electronic parts and datasheets using our custom built AI. We've curated a database of millions of parts and made their documentation available to the AI so you can search across them quickly. Whether you need to find a new part for your design, or search for information in a datasheet, Zenode helps you find it!
How much does Zenode cost?
Basic discovery and viewing parts and documents is free, while access to advanced AI features like Deep Dive and Interactive Documents costs 1 credit per part.
What kinds of queries can Zenode handle?
Any English language request intended to find electronic components for use on a PCB will work. You can search directly for a part number, or describe what you're looking for and list any known specifications, and the AI will handle the rest.
What information does the AI search during the initial discovery?
Discovery uses AI to set the category and parametric filters, then ranks parts by closest match between your query and the part's metadata (I.e. descriptions, specifications, etc).
How many components does Zenode have?
We currently have over 40M part sources in our catalog from major distributors and manufacturers, and add more regularly.
I searched for parts containing X feature or specification, why am I seeing parts that don't include X in my results?
Depending on the feature X that you're looking for, the AI might not recognize it or misinterpreted what you were asking. If that's the case, you can add a follow up input to clarify what you need. If the feature is something filterable (like 'Input Voltage' or 'Packaging Type'), try setting a parametric filter that restricts the parts we search to those with that parameter. If it's still not getting it right, let support know; we'd love to see how you stumped it!
Can Zenode hallucinate a part?
No. All the components in our database are real, collected from reputable distributors and manufacturers. The AI simply ranks them by what best matches your intent.
How do I request a feature or report an issue?
You can submit feedback from pretty much anywhere on the site, and we read every single submission. If you want to be part of the community helping us to build Zenode, join our Discord server!
